The 1980s was definitely a time to be alive! From the evolution of music, film and television, everyone was exposed to something new, whether through a series or a song.
Many legendary artists made history in the decade, and many were talented women who wanted to share their creative sounds with those willing to listen.
They broke records and had sold-out tours (not just in America but worldwide). Their talent could be heard from miles away, as various countries appreciated the artists' crafts. We're talking about women like Donna Summers, Dolly Parton, Kate Bush, Madonna, and more.
