Betsy Steinberg is a long-time independent film producer. Steinberg is the former head of Kartemquin Films, and in that capacity served as Executive Producer on projects such as Minding the Gap, Abacus: Small Enough to Jail and the TV Series America to to Me. Steinberg was also Managing Director at the Illinois Film Office, where she helped the passage of the Illinois Film tax credit and helped the state dramatically grow the film industry.
