As a Political Scientist and CEO/Founder of Brighter Higher Ed Terri Givens has worked for more than 30 years in higher education, politics, international affairs, and non-profits. Givens is the author of numerous articles and books on immigration policy and race and antidiscrimination politics. Her new book “Radical Empathy” combines personal and political experiences as they relate to racism and bringing about social change, will be published in 2021.
