Kari began her career as a retail marketer in meat merchandising. After years of working on the corporate side she transitioned to become a butcher like her father and two grandmothers before her.

Now she's a master butcher and principal owner of Range, Inc., and founder of Range Meat Academy Online, an online certified meat school, training meat cutters and meat clerks. 

Kari is also a James Beard nominated author of The Art of Beef Cutting.
