Veterinary pathologist Katie Colegrove's mission is marine mammal conservation
Posted: May 15, 2020, 11:45AMKatie Colegrove loved the ocean and marine life as a young girl, and knew early on she wanted to work with marine animals. That combined with her love of solving puzzles led her to become a veterinary pathologist specializing in marine mammals.
She was recruited by the Zoological Pathology Program at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois, housed at the Chicago Zoological Society's Brookfield Zoo.
