Yahaira Lopez knows firsthand the challenges of raising children with special educational needs. She is the mother of twin boys, one with Autism and one with ADHD. Her experiences inspired her to found Autism Sprinter, a Boston area nonprofit dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of families with loved ones on the autism spectrum through community outreach, advocacy, resources, and support. Yahaira has worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and Paraprofession in Boston Public Schools, where she assisted in the educational and social development of individual students.
