When a series can make you cry, there's no escaping that it has your attention...and your heart.

Usually, crime drama series can put you through many emotions in one episode. Initially, you might be furious that a crime is taking so long to solve. Then, you might feel sad for the victim and their family. By the end, you're breathing a sigh of relief that someone has been held accountable for their crimes.

It's normal for dedicated viewers of a show, but nothing makes sadness swarm over you like having to say goodbye to a beloved character. And when a series does it right (because, let's be honest, some have failed), tears will flow like a river.

In the Rizzoli & Isles episode "...Goodbye," Jane, Maura, and the rest of the crew are gearing up to say their final goodbyes to Detective Barry Frost. The 2014 season five episode shows the main characters dealing with grief as they prepare for the funeral and solve a confusing murder.

It's the highest rated episode of the series on IMDb, and the one that many fans hold close to their hearts. It's hard not to shed a tear listening to those close to Frost share their memories of the young detective. The character has been a part of the Rizzoli & Isles family since it began.

To lighten the mood a bit, there were some comical lines said during a conversation between Jane and Maura about what their last wishes would be:

Dr. Maura Isles: It occurred to me today, that we need to talk about our last wishes

Detective Jane Rizzoli: No we don't

Dr. Maura Isles: I want to be buried at sea

Detective Jane Rizzoli: No, I hate boats. And I have to go to city hall and get all kinds of permits and... no, just pick something more landlocked.
