Do you remember being a kid and thinking, "I can be anything!" From an astronaut floating in space to a makeup artist, a doctor, and even a cowgirl/cowboy in the Wild West fighting bad guys. Alright, maybe not the cowgirl/cowboy, but the point is that your imagination freely ran wild, and you could dream big.

We've heard various stories about actors finding their love for acting and performance while they were young, although some found their calling when they became adults, exploring what road life would lead them down.

For Lee Thompson Young, there was a specific moment when he knew acting was his calling. We know and love the actor as Det. Barry Frost from the TNT crime drama Rizzoli & Isles that debuted in 2010. Now, we can watch reruns of the show right here on Start TV.

Yet before the show, Frost was a Disney star making a name for himself on the series The Famous Jett Jackson and the Disney movie Johnny Tsunami. Before gaining roles in Hollywood films, he also appeared on shows like The Guardian and Smallville.

It all started when he was ten.

According to a feature story in The State in 2011, Young decided to pursue acting after reciting Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech" in a production of "A Night of Stars and Dreams."

The feature states, "Young did more community theater before moving to New York two years later with his mom so she could attend Union Theological Seminary."

The actor believed that it all worked out for the best.
