Kathryn Morris worked alongside Angela Lansbury in this Murder, She Wrote TV movie
Posted: October 24, 2024, 11:38AMKathryn Morris got the opportunity to work alongside many legendary actors, including THE Angela Lansbury. That's right, two of our favorite Start TV actresses graced the small screen together in a made-for-TV Murder, She Wrote movie titled Murder, She Wrote: A Story to Die For.
According to IMDb, in the production, Jessica Fletcher is a speaker at Speakers' Incorporated, which is attended by authors. Russian author Yuri Malenkovich also plans to attend the event to promote his book about the K.G.B. When he is killed, Fletcher intends to help a struggling writer accused of his murder.
The Murder, She Wrote audience rated this movie a 7.1/10, believing that it is one of the best made-for-TV movies from the show. If you remember watching it, you'll see Cold Case's Kathryn Morris in the production, playing the character Patricia Williams.
It was a sticky situation, as are all murder mysteries within Cabot Cove and beyond the universe, but of course, Fletcher found out who the murderer was. We won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen it yet. Don't worry.
These are some of our favorite lines from Jessica in the movie:
"So there's no age limit on reinventing yourself. Sometimes, it just takes us a while to discover what it is that we're good at."
"John, rudeness is hardly grounds for murder. If it was, half the planet would be gone tomorrow."
"The taking of a human life for any reason is wrong. I mean, you can never nudge the moral compass far from its true north without losing something vital. A compass is essential for everyone, writers in particular."
