"Hurricane Angie" is what Sasha Alexander called her co-star Angie Harmon during a joint interview in 2011 with Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The actresses were promoting their then-new crime-drama series, Rizzoli & Isles, on TNT.

"When Angie comes [into] a room, she is like a force of nature. I'm an outgoing person, but nothing like she is. Angie is a Texas girl through and through. And everything about her—her heart, her energy, her sense of humor, her volume!—It's all bigger than life," Alexander added.

Despite their entirely different personalities, Alexander and Harmon had a strong connection as their characters, Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles, but also behind the scenes.

During the time of the interview, the second season of Rizzoli & Isles was about to premiere. The interviewer asked the two how much of an "odd couple" they were off camera, and their responses were loving and honest.

"Angie's a Leo; I'm a Taurus. We have different energies, but we share the same sense of humor, and we like to have fun while we're working. But sometimes I have to say, 'Shhh! I need to get these words out right. So can you stop dancing for a moment?'" Sasha Alexander often had to impede herself from laughing while on set.

Harmon chimed in and responded, "Our differences are what makes us enjoy each other. I mean, all of my girlfriends are not the spitting image of me. If my friends were all exactly like me, I think it would get pretty boring."

We're glad the two actresses found joy within each other; it made the show even better. Whether they're portraying their characters in Rizzoli  & Isles or just hanging out in real life, you can clearly see the bond between Sasha Alexander and Angie Harmon.
