Who's ready to see Jessica Fletcher on the big screen? The charming and witty character will be making her way to a theater near you!

According to Variety, a Murder, She Wrote movie is in the works at Universal Pictures. Created by Peter S. Fischer, Richard Levison and William Link, the series was popular for 12 seasons and starred the one and only Angela Lansbury. Now, it'll get a chance to capture fans' hearts and attention for more than 47 minutes.

The movie will be written by Dumb Money writers Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo, with Amy Pascal as the producer. No director or star has been announced.

We're sure dedicated Murder, She Wrote, Jessica Fletcher and Angela Lansbury fans have many questions. Like, "Will there be a dramatic change in the character for the film?" "Will the focus still be Fletcher solving murder mysteries, or will this be a group effort? (for example, giving Fletcher a partner)."

We also have the same questions, but more about the plot has yet to be revealed.

Angela Lansbury contributed a lot of time, effort and energy to the development of Jessica Fletcher, and we think her influence will still be seen—even in the upcoming film.

The actress starred in a few Murder, She Wrote movies herself, but they were made-for-TV and just as successful.
