Shari Dyon Perry landed her breakout role at an early age

Shari Dyon Perry was born and bred in Phenix City, Alabama, and started performing in regional theater with her actress mother as a child. By 12, she was playing the young Rene Jackson on the popular TV drama Any Day Now. After leaving the show when she was 16, Shari returned home and studied theater at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to perform in theater, commercials and television in cities around the south. Shari also took up teaching her craft to students and local artists.
