Andrea Serrano was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. when she was 6 years old. Her passion and drive are a direct result of her own immigration story. She joined AmeriCorps, and it pushed her to work in education, helping others with similar backgrounds to find the success she's had. Currently, she serves as Managing Director of Individual Giving for Teach for America.
