Catch up with Lorelai and Rory during Start TV's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life event, starting Saturday, January 10 at 5P | 4C. The event will conclude on January 17, as we'll show two episodes of the four-part miniseries each Saturday (two in a row).

May 15, 2007, will forever be a date close to the hearts of Gilmore Girls fans. It's the last time they got to see their favorite characters on air. Rory's (Alexis Bledel) dreams were in arm's reach when she received a job offer at an online magazine to cover then-President Barack Obama's campaign.

When she accepted, the residents of Stars Hollow couldn't let her go without a farewell fit for a princess. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) also finally realized their feelings in the final episode.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, set 10 years after the finale, gave viewers a chance to see their favorite women again, this time with more wisdom and new problems. Rory was a freelance journalist on the move frequently and rekindled a "no strings attached" romance with an old fling who was engaged.

Emily (Kelly Bishop) was grieving the passing of Richard (Edward Hermann), and so was Lorelai, who felt a bit lost in a few areas of her life, including in her relationship with Luke. The four-part miniseries, each episode of which was an hour-plus long, took viewers through their lives in each season: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Other fan-favorite characters also made an appearance, including Lane Kim (Keiko Agena), Paris Geller (Liza Weil), Kirk Gleason (Sean Gunn), and Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia).
