Solving mysteries can be some pretty spooky business. Nobody knows that better than Melinda Gordon on
Ghost Whisperer.

Except, perhaps, Agatha Christie.

Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan, DBE is just as impressive as her name implies. She's known for writing 66 detective novels, 14 short story collections and a popular play entitled The Mousetrap. Her works typically center around detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, and have made a mark on mystery fiction that will continue to last for years.

We've compiled a list of titles that could be a ghost for Gordon or a caper for Detective Poirot, whose names have been wiped from their summaries (now called "principal investigator."). See if you can decipher which mystery belongs to whom.

Take a look at these titles and take a guess; is this an episode of Ghost Whisperer, or the title of a Christie mystery?
  1. Demon Child: The spirit of a malicious boy terrorizes his family, and the principal investigator must find a way to temper the child's rage.
  2. The Curse of the Ninth: A musician who believes he's been cursed needs help solving the mystery, while the principal investigator uncovers a much bigger problem.
  3. Peril at End House: When a young woman mentions that she has had three near-death experiences, the principal investigator suspects that someone is out to end her life once and for all.
  4. Murder on the Orient Express: When the principal investigator is stuck on a train in a snowdrift overnight, the last thing you expect to do is solve a murder surrounded by fascinating people.
  5. The Children's Parade: The investigation of a poltergeist in a hospital leads to a battle between supernatural forces and the human world.
  6. And Then There Were None: A series of letters lure the characters to a mansion under false pretenses. During their stay, the group must solve the murders of their comrades as they are targeted and picked off one by one.
  7. Imaginary Friends and Enemies: Something is off while planning a wedding – when the flower girl unlocks the ghost of boy left behind in a cabin, the celebration seems to be over before it has begun.
  8. The A.B.C. Murders: A letter arrives detailing the specifics of a crime that is planned for the near future, signed by a mysterious villain who calls themselves "A.B.C."
  9. The Underneath: A ghostly presence blames the principal investigator for their demise, with only one catch – the principal investigator had nothing to do with it.
  10. Death on the Nile: While on holiday in Egypt, the principal investigator notices that society's hottest newly weds are trying to bury a dark secret, but an enraged ex-lover won't let that happen.
